When a Family with Deep Roots in Hospitality Creates Something New, the Result Rarely Goes Unnoticed.
The restaurant family behind Maiami, which has already left a distinctive mark on Thessaloniki’s culinary scene, returns with a new concept, different, yet equally impressive: Pommes.
As they confess, nothing would have happened without the initial inspiration of Chef Andreas Klavdianos, whose vision sparked this new venture. Shortly after, Consulting Chef Lazaros Adalialis took over, signing the creative direction and new ideas of the menu.
“The love for potatoes and a new idea.”
Our many years of experience in the restaurant industry, combined with imagination, innovation, humor, and the nostalgia evoked by good food, led us to the concept of Pommes.
And who doesn’t love potatoes? In every form, they are everyone’s weakness, young and old alike. From which family table have they ever been absent? How many laughs, arguments, tender moments, and love stories have been shared over a plate of potatoes? It’s exactly that familiar and comforting feeling that we want to capture through the creation of Pommes.
By combining quality ingredients with our own personal touch, we aspire to bring to life a new experience where the potato doesn’t just accompany the dish — it becomes the star. Elegant, gourmet, distinctive, bold, yet never losing its friendly, familial, and authentic character, from the very first bite.
The Pommes menu features potatoes in various recipes and preparations, complemented by burgers, salads, and a decadent crumble dessert with rich custard cream.
And just as potatoes have deep and strong roots, we too hope to see Pommes take root in the hearts of Thessaloniki’s food lovers.
